What will the treament be like?

The initial consultation will take up to one and a half hours, after which time I will reassess the case carefully and send out the pills in the post the following day.

Follow-ups take up to 45 minutes and are usually 3 - 4 weeks after the initial appointment. As there is a big time gap between appointments it is important that you take note of any changes during the period of treatment.

To gain the full effect from homeopathy it is advised that you return for at least one follow-up, although two is more usual. Most people come to see me as they would a doctor, returning for treatment for acute conditions or even just for a health 'MOT'.

I acknowledge and respect the importance of conventional medicine, and I work in conjunction with General Practitioners, and any decisions relating to the reduction of conventional medication will be made with the advice of your GP.

The pills

Remedies are made by taking a substance and diluting and shaking it (in a machine) until very little of the original substance is left. This removes any toxic properties, leaving only powerful curative effects behind. There are thousands of remedies made from substances including plants, minerals, and some that originate from the animal kingdom.
